Every wedding is unique. Our work is designed to accommodate your vision, from the first meeting with your officiant, to the moment they bind you as husband and wife.

  • Wedding Consultation

    You will meet with a member of our team to discuss the details of your event. During this consultation, your officiant will outline the requirements of a nikah and discuss how your vision of the ceremony can be incorporated into it. You can elaborate on your expectations and express any cultural considerations that your officiant should keep in mind for the ceremony.

  • Bespoke Nikah Contract

    We will guide you and your loved one through the process of customizing your nikah contract. Our thoughtfully crafted template delineates the guidelines for an Islamic marriage rooted in compassion. Your officiant will help you curate the contract to your liking by adding or removing clauses, whilst ensuring that it fulfills all of the Islamic legal requirements.

  • Personalized Sermon

    The nikah khutba, or marriage sermon, is one of the most important parts of the ceremony. Your officiant will carefully craft an English sermon that combines timeless Islamic values with themes that you would like incorporated into the speech. Your favorite verses of the Qurʾan, special quotes about love, or poems related to marriage can all be woven into the address.

Pricing

The cost for our customized Muslim wedding service starts at $900, excluding travel expenses (which are waived in New York City). This fee includes a wedding consultation, advice on your nikah contract, a personalized sermon, officiating your nikah ceremony as you envision it, and delivering your marriage license.

Baraka Betrothal believes in bringing people together—in matrimony and in community. For this reason, a portion of our proceeds are donated to Nafahat, a nonprofit organization dedicated to building community centered around spiritual practice.

Additional Services

Weekday Weddings

Ceremonies in the greater New York City area that are scheduled between Monday—Thursday start at a discounted rate of $700, inclusive of travel expenses if within the 5 boroughs.

Premarital Coaching

Our officiants provide limited coaching at $125 per session to couples that require guidance on assessing compatibility, understanding Islam’s outlook on marriage, and managing marital expectations.

Decorative Contracts from Nikahnama

We facilitate the crafting of a bespoke marriage contract with you, but do not provide a decorative cover page. You can purchase a stunning cover page for your contract from our trusted partner Nikahnama.
